  2. Avoid accidental account deletions.

    Hello.
    I reposted this suggestion, because the old one had a misleading title, and I am unable to edit it. http://watzatsong.uservoice.com/forums/145224-general/suggestions/14761296-delete-profile

    One accidental click and the push of a button… this could be enough to remove the account permanently.

  3. Add voting for removal of unidentifiable or unwanted submissions.

    We should be allowed to "downvote" samples for deletion for several reasons: music inaudible or quality too poor, too short, duplicate submission, etc. Wouldn't you like to clear out many of the thousands of unidentified samples that have been lingering here for months and months because they simply don't provide enough clues for anyone to recognize? Be sure to either set a high number of unique user votes (at least five), or use a ratio of votes to "keep/discard" each sample.   4. Delete profile

    It's horrible, that you can delete a profile so quickly! Sign off sounds like log off! It deletes accounts without confirmation E-Mail.

  5. Small audio player bar

    Hello. Here is another idea:
    A time-bar for the audio player would be nice to see.
    I could jump from a specific time to another, like I can do on any media player.

  6. Seems like when you go to load as a first time user there is no indication that it is working

    I had no clue it was loading, I just kinda had to sit there and wait and hope for the best. I have a feeling this might be a huge deterrent for new samples. Seems to be a firefox issue, but as firefox is a major browser this might be something to check out.

  7. Ability to bump other's sound searches on top of the list.

    Hello.
    I accidentally sent this to contact support, so I have to write it again:

    It's already possible for me to bump my own sound searches on the top of the homepage for six hours by paying $4.99.
    It would be great, If I could do it with other's sound searches, because I might find a song, which is searched by me AND the other user.

  9. HTML and Linebreaks in the comments

    Hello. It would be great, if I was able to write bold, underlined or italic etc. text and Linebreaks in the comments.

    However, I love WatZatSong! I am new here, but it seems to be a great idea! Thank you for considering my suggestions.

  10. Suppose, that a user is drunk or sleepy...

    Your website looks good, really. But there are some nuances here and there, that do not help a beginner, allow him to make a mistake instead. For example, there's no explicit info about a sample's max. duration. Secondly, I did not notice an "instrumental" option in the "languages" drop-down menu when filling info to upload. I would rather like to see this option being separated and more explicit by that... And would like to recommend you to try an interesting approach: "Suppose, that a user is drunk or sleepy". In my case I was sleepy, as much as I did…

    I closed the window but then it uploaded partial of the song. I thought the button wasn't working at all. There is no progress bar or anything to indicate whether it was uploading.

  13. Basic Tips Section

    Hey, I like the site quite a bit, it is helpful as I have successfully found a song so far :). and I like helping others as well.

    My suggestion is basic tips on finding tracks; I know a couple such as:
    A] going to IMDB and finding the movie's soundtrack info or looking at the end credits / B] search engine site for lyrics, etc.

    But like another idea would be to maybe link this in the "Post a Sample" action just to make sure the person has a better idea.

  14. add the ability to sort samples by number of answers (unanswered first)

    If unanswered questions are first, they are more visible. Also, I don't need to identify songs someone has already identified.

  16. Keep unanswered alive

    In 1 day 6 new pages of unknown songs are submitted. This means, 1 track gets listened on average of 20 times and then it's lost in the past and forgotten.
    We need features to keep unanswered tracks alive longer than 5 hours.
    For e.g. "give me random unanswered", or "show oldest unanswered".

    les fonctions du site ont évolué dans le bon sens avec la classification des genres de musique à la recherche (ex : soul funk rap ) .
    Il serait judicieux de retrouver cette fonction dans les requêtes résolues ( cela permettrais aux membres de de découvrir les réponses trouvées par genre) , Merci

    Since this site is ignored by the owners I doubt there are any moderators or anything, but there is some worthless moron on the site by "bugmenot1" who is spamming every song page with some profane, homophobic post. Unless this piece-of-sh*t excuse for a human being does the world a favor and kills himself or something, this site is going to get a lot worse.

  20. just an idea ...

    a playlist where all the samples are played automatically (by tag or sorted or whatever ) and skipped by the listener .
    it will speed up the process.
