Reduce collateral damage from sample deletion
The recent push to clear out old samples is doing more harm than good, IMHO.
Duplicate samples being deleted results in follows being lost and comments being lost, which is far more "bad" than the tiny "good" result of removing one "useless" sample.
I think that either duplicates should be merged, so any comments and follows on the sample that would have been deleted would be moved into the remaining sample it was supposedly a duplicate, or better still, no actual deletion at all, just an admin action that marks a sample as a duplicate, with a pointer to the "other" sample, removing it from the list of "open" samples but letting the comments, follows, and actual sample remain in place.

WZS should be renamed as: "This sample has been deleted."
More and more of the samples I am following are disappearing. What's the point of the follow-button, anyway??!! :( :(

STOP DELETING SAMPLES THAT HAVE FOLLOWERS, FOR GOD'S SAKE!!

Bad enough when you're following something and it gets deleted. Must be even worse when you posted a sample (possibly years ago), and it suddenly gets deleted with no warning or apparent reason!

Two samples I was following were deleted two days ago. I have no idea which ones. All I get is:

I'm starting to hate WZS.

This is another development on WZS that makes absolutely zero sense to me. I don't think samples with followers should ever be deleted. The follow-function makes no sense if samples you are following can disappear at any moment.

Also, when proposals are "admin accepted" rather than accepted by the initial poster, this should be indicated on the page in some way.
