Please bring the old design back!
Sorry, but the new design is really hideous and it's difficult to find anything.
I'm really sick of websites changing a perfectly working interface and my having to get used to it all over again...
My point is: If it ain't broke, don't fix it!
Hi everyone,
We are sticking with the new design but slowly improving it step by step. Every comment of missing / broken feature is more than welcome.
Many thanks!

Did you actually read what I wrote?? Old requests are NOT anonymous. I explained it twice and I'm not going to explain it again.

quoting the boss "However, the samples posted before the launch of the new version still hide the poster’s name."
As far as I can see, this IS true, however, it needs a good pair of eyes.
Atsuko, here's a rule of thumb:
once you see a 200-days old request and you also see the username, it's a QUIZ. Simple as that. Whilst (current) quizzes are no longer distinguished from regular requests (which is extremely annoying for me, as in v1.0 I've always disabled them entirely), you are able to find out about old quizzes as the username is not anonymized. -

Well, good for you but I still think it's a complete disgrace that old anonymous requests (closed and opened) were made public. And contrary to what Raphael said the poster's name is still visible in the comments below /old/ requests and /old/ requests are still visible on everyone's profile page. I just wanted to point this out one last time because it really *****s me off when I read stuff like this -> "samples posted before the launch of the new version still hide the poster’s name". This simply isn't true. It seems like it was done in the same half-assed way as the launch itself...

Just to be quite clear, anonymous or non anonymous request doesn't matter for me. On the other hand, anonymous guess are highly recommended (at least for quiz request).

Is it possible to eliminate quotes around comments ? - So the hyperlinks would work without hasardous copy-paste

Quote: "Non anonymous requests aren't an issue."
Yes, they are an issue if they were submitted anonymously in the FIRST place. (I don't care what they do with the new samples. I stopped using the site after the launch.)

Non anonymous requests aren't an issue. I do think it's even a good thing (just like many other quizers). Please don't go back on this as far as normal requests and quiz are considered on a different way.

@Raphael: Thank you for your reply but that's not what I mean. I can see the names next to proposals (on the request page) and requests (both opened and closed, on the profile page) that were submitted over a 100+ days ago, well before the launch.

Another thing that really gets me is WZS just showing the names behind samples and guesses that were submitted anonymously. To me that's a breach of trust that can't be fixed. Glad I've never sung on any of my requests. :P

Gerald, the point is the site should /never/ have been opened like that. Or just for the promotional event where the new version was presented for the first time - and then reclosed for an unknown time. Had it been done like this, people would not have reacted the way we can see it here: that's because there would not have been any unfeasible deadlines to fulfil nor extreme pressure forcing programmers to do things in a haste and helter-skelter.

I want my Old Watzatversion!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

People are still here working on this site, so I don't see any sense of leaving now.

@Alpho
Why are you saying that?
Will you maybe persuade them to go somewhere else?
If so, why would you do that? -
Alpho commented
@Gerald: "Still there", for sure, but for a while.
Mark my words... -

I already have.

@Alpho
No, you are terribly wrong. All the WZS lovers are still here. -

The point is: Some outstanding people here (let's say 20 or 30 personns), who make (where making) the site go its way so far, are the same who keep on claiming for a fast recovery of the basic fonctionalities. These people do figure out utmost 95 % of the total amount of requets.
Don't you hear them calling, they'll go away and WZS gets dead. -

This site is still by far the best on the internet for recognizing the unknown samples. If you don't like it go somewhere else and leave us others alone! capisce?
